We have a thorough verification process for businesses who wish to verify themselves on our platform:
Insurance – We check the business has up to date insurances relevant to their category. In most cases, Public Liability Insurance is the only needed type of insurance.
Qualifications/Accreditations – For some businesses, they are required to have certain qualifications/accreditations fopr their staff. For example, Gas Safe Certificates, Food Hygiene Certificates, Solicitors Qualifying Examinations certificates. We check that the business owners and staff has all the relevant qualifications and accreditations required.
Company registration – We also check the companies status in the UK, ensuring that the business is operating legitimately. We do allow freelancers, self-employed and sole traders on our platform who may not be a registered company – but we still check all other verficiation methods.
Experience – We ensure that all verified businesses have experience in the business they are operating in, whether through work history or other business operating experience.
VereLocal Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct – Businesses who want to be verified with us need to accept our Terms & Conditions and our Code of Conduct. This means they intend to operate legitimate businesses, services and products to consumers or other businesses.
